Nairobi is currently relishing the delights of hosting East Africa’s
first of a kind whisky fiesta; The Love Whisky Festival. Unveiled by
Kenya Breweries Limited on November 5th, the festival is taking place in the course of the month of November in different venues around Nairobi

Bringing you East Africa’s first Love Whisky Festival, themed ‘Whisky is Vibrant’, there’s never been a better time to get to know about Scottish whisky and the ‘proper’ way is to drink it.
The Love Whisky Festival is Kenya’s largest, liveliest and most exciting whisky tasting and lifestyle show of its kind. “Not only will attendees have the opportunity to experience different whiskies at different venues all through November, but there will also be lots of new and exciting things to learn about whisky in general, we believe that the more consumers know about whisky the more likely they are to enjoy it,”says the newly crowned Johnnie Walker Brand Ambassador Ryan Majiwa.
Love Whisky Festival is specifically aligned towards EABL Whisky premium brands hence the current effort by KBL to increase awareness of its whisky category. The range of whisky on show is nothing short of amazing, Scotch whisky leading out with ‘The Empire Builder’ Johnnie Walker Red Label, the ‘Party Starter’ J&B, Bushmills Irish Whiskey from one of the oldest distilleries in the world and Single Malt whiskies from the four corners of Scotland.
The year is nearly over, so it’s time to unwind and party. As you do it, don’t forget to love some whisky. Don’t forget to drink responsibly.
