HOUSE OF LUNGULA PREMIERE

Historia Films are proud to announce that their adults only comedy “HOUSE OF LUNGULA” is finally ready to premiere. November is officially a Lungula Month!

WHEN: Thursday the 21^st of November
WHERE: Century Cinemax, the Junction Mall, Ngong road.
Time: 7.00pm

The premiere will have a limited amount of seats for the general public and therefore tickets are on a first come first served policy. However, after the big premiere “House of Lungula” will continue its screenings at Century Cinemax at the Junction Mall two times a day, daily, for a week starting on Friday the 22^nd of November for 300ksh Monday to Thursday and 350ksh from Friday to Sunday!

To commemorate the premiere we are releasing the second music video from the official soundtrack of the movie! This time round, a hip-hop song called (what else?) “LUNGULA”which is written and performed by CHUOM 32 feat Doreen Nyawira (Ni Sisi Band). CHUOM 32 is a revolutionary hip-hop rap group that resides in Dandora

The premiere event has a special price for the general public of 500 ksh, which includes a free soda and popcorn as well as the chance to meet and take photos with the star dusted cast of the movie that includes Lizz Njagah, Ian Mbugua, Sarah Hassan, Gerald Langiri, Nice Githinji, Lenana Kariba, Sheila Kwamboka, Gitau Ngogoyo, Lydia Gitachu, Helena Waithera, Diana Nekoye and Director Alex Konstantaras.

GOOD NEWS: House of Lungula has extended it's screenings for one more week... from Friday the 29th of November till Thursday the 5th of December.

THE FACE OF NAIROBI BEAUTY PAGEANT

The Face of Nairobi is a beauty pageant aimed at nurturing budding beauties and also building the brains of models in the county. It also targets mentoring models not only into beauty queens but also into role-models who impact the society positively.

WHERE: Pride Inn Centre, Westlands

The competition aims at unveiling a goodwill ambassador who will spearhead a humanitarian cause for a year. Hence, the cause of the project this year is to fight and create awareness about breast cancer in the society.

The Face of Nairobi beauty pageant conducted an audition on 26th August 2013 where 39 contestants were shortlisted. The 39 contestants were subjected to an online voting that would later trim down the number to 12 finalists. A series of interactive events have been scheduled since then to take place before the gala night.

On Friday last week the models took a trip to Muteleu Maasai Traditional Village for a three-day boot-camp. The models did a photo-shoot to create breast cancer awareness for a campaign dubbed Save The Boobies. The finalists will undergo training sessions at the Pride Inn Centre from Wednesday 6th to 29th.

Having been organised by veteran entertainment moguls, The Face of Nairobi gala night will be star-studded and celeb chromed not forgetting the wonderful audience that will be present. This event is set to be graced by some of the top entertainment and media personalities in Kenya thereby elevating the status of the event.

Pinky Ghelani will emcee the gala night alongside DJ Pierra Makena who will be giving her Midas sensual caresses to the decks.
